New: APIS / eAPIS Border Manifest Module
Prometheus One now automates APIS and eAPIS passenger border filing — covering US CBP, UK Border Force and other jurisdictions — directly from your flight operations workflow.
What is APIS?
The Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) is a mandatory border-filing requirement for international aviation. Before departure, operators must transmit a manifest of all passengers and crew — including passport data, nationality, date of birth and travel document numbers — to the relevant border authority. Failure to file, or filing incorrect data, can result in fines and departure holds.
For US-bound or US-departing flights, CBP requires eAPIS filing via the CBP Traveler Enforcement Compliance System. UK-bound flights require submission to the UK Border Force APIS aggregator.
What Prometheus One Does
- Unified manifest builder: Collects passenger and crew identity data (passport number, nationality, DOB, travel document expiry) from your existing Passenger Manager and Crew records — no double-entry.
- Multi-jurisdiction support: Generate CBP-XML for US eAPIS or PAXLST EDIFACT messages for UK/IATA aggregators from the same manifest.
- Aggregator integration: Configure your PNRGO, SITA or custom aggregator credentials once in Settings → Border Filing. Submissions are sent via the APIS Submit edge function with full audit logging.
- Status tracking: Each submission is logged with timestamp, jurisdiction, message format and acknowledgment status. Resubmission is one click.
- Document download: Download the submission XML or EDIFACT file for your records or manual portal upload if required.
Identity Data Quality
The AI-powered Passport OCR feature (upgraded to Claude Opus 4.8 in this release) ensures the underlying identity data is accurate. Passport images received via email are scanned, structured data is extracted with field-level confidence scores, and a mandatory human review gate prevents any record from being used in a manifest until a crew member confirms the OCR result.
Getting Started
Configure your aggregator credentials in Admin → Border Filing (APIS). Then open any scheduled flight, navigate to the Passengers tab, and use the APIS Manifest panel to review, validate and submit your manifest before departure.
